Teej festival marks the advent of monsoons or sawan. It is also called the festival of swings. The festival of Teej is synonymous with mehndi adorned palms, flowers, bangles, bandhani dupattas and mouth watering ghevar. Young girls and married women wear traditional attire and get together to sing and dance.Students of SMDMS from Pre- Primary celebrated the festival of Teej with great enthusiasm. The children dressed themselves in traditional attires and enjoyed themselves to their fullest. Senior students portrayed their creativity by designing beautiful Heena designs. An event was organised for all the staff members also where they enjoyed dancing and doing various activities.Principal Ms. Vandana Kamboj addressed everyone present there and congratulated for the grand success of the event.
