“Parents are first teachers and teachers are second parents, who shape the future of students .”
* So, to show gratitude towards the teacher’s efforts and guidance as a mentor ,students feel that it’s an opportunity to express their love towards teacher’s efforts so they celebrate teacher’s day every year. The day is celebrated in India every year on 5th September to appreciate the role played by teachers in the life of students–the leaders of tomorrow. The day is also celebrated to pay tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, former President of the country and a visionary educator.
It was celebrated in SMDMS with great fervour and enthusiasm. The responsibility of teaching was taken up by the students as an appreciation for their teachers and they played the role of their favourite teacher. Our esteemed Ma’am Principal Ms. Vandana kamboj appreciated the efforts of the students and said that “Teachers have worked around the world. They have worked individually and collectively to find solutions and create new learning environments for their students to allow education to continue. Their role advising on school reopening plans and supporting students with the return to school is just as important, and nothing can be better than this day to show our gratitude to the visionaries of future.”
