*A Guru is like a candle – it consumes itself to light the way for others.*
Guru Purnima is a festival of reverence and dedication to the Guru. This word itself means ‘ dispeller of darkness’. To pay their gratitude, students of SMDMS stepped forward, chanted mantras and hymns and shared their videos with their mentors for the same. An online prayer session was also organised for all the staff members in which everyone participated with great zeal and devotion. Principal Ms. Vandana Kamboj congratulated everyone on this occasion sharing her views that Guru is the one who leads us to the right path in our life from the material to the divine, from the ephemeral to the eternal.
