“Kargil Vijay Diwas, a day to remember the valiant efforts and sacrifices of the Indian Armed Forces”
The war of Kargil is considered to be an important turning point in the modern history of India. To commemorate the anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Swami Mohan Dass Model School, Jalandhar,organised various activities for classes III to VIII.Card making, poster making and painting competitions were organised to represent the life of Indian soldiers during the Kargil war.
By participating in these competitions, students were able to understand the significance of nationalism, patriotism, unity and integrity.Our majestic Mam Principal,Ms. Vandana Kamboj said “It is the day to remember the martyrs, rejoice their sacrifices and strengthen the resolve of the armed forces to the cause of the nation.”
